Leica TPS (Machine control to Field Controller)

I am setting up my TS15 to run machine control but when I attempt to switch back to my field controller it won't connect. To switch between the two I go through Instrument>Connections>all other connections and select either field controller or geocom, connecting through the radio handle. When switching back from Machine control to the controller it cannot find the TPS, I have tried using the connection wizard, turning the system on and off again, unplugging the radio with nothing consistently working. Has anyone else had this issue or have a work around?
