Changed doctors - no longer have ADHD apparently

I took a test at a new doctors office and apparently I did not test "positive" in a. Attention test. This means I will no longer be able get medication. I initially went in to get off of a stimulant and look for something milder than methylphenidate. This is going to make me seek alternatives myself. Any suggestions?
