Getting attachment parented infant used to a babysitter: Work-from-home edition

My child was being raised with attachment parenting principles but needs to get used to other babysitters now. I am working in the home while the babysitter is here. Is it better for the child to have uninterrupted chunks of time with the sitter while he is screaming about it until they "bond", or is it better for me to help him adjust slowly by going to see him on my breaks and holding him and helping him smile and be happy around her so that he might trust her more?
