Is this game worth saving up & buying a PS4 for?

Hi, I'm a lover of the dark souls franchise (especially ds3) and I have been considering whether to buy a ps4 to play this game is a good idea. Issue is, I'd have to save up for a while to get a ps4 and BB+DLC. Does this game live up to the hype? Also, how would a ~20 in monitor which can graphically present ds3 well, run BB? Tyvm
