Those who have moved for your SO, what tips do you have?

Girlfriend and I are currently in a long distance relationship and I'll be moving for her when she gets matched (fingers crossed!). It's going to mean a new job, new place, leaving friends, and all the other nerve racking things that come with relocating.
For those of you that have moved to a new place, what advice would you have for a newbie? Also - super happy I've found this community of med spouses!
