Tiny wood stoves?

Possibly a noob question. Looking for a very small (10,000btu or less) wood stove... I've found a few, of course those from marine stove come up quite often. My question is - apart from having to burn smaller chunks of wood... is it possible, in these small stoves, to keep fires going overnight (8+hrs) the way you can in a larger stove such as a Vermont Castings Defiant?
