How Blizzard could change Heroic Tavern Brawl for the better. (or make a new format)
One of the biggest complaints many people had about Heroic Tavern Brawl (HTB) the first time around was they were just spending money to play the same ladder they're already used to. I feel a good way Blizzard could fix this issue is to instead only release HTB 2-3 weeks prior to the release date for an expansion, with the added Bonus of all the new cards are included. Players wouldn't have to craft any of the new cards but would instead have access to everyone for free since theyv'e paid to enter the brawl. And since the goal of HTB is to get the most wins possible people will be trying to make the most busted decks they can, which after a 5 day period should give blizzard a decent idea of how the meta could shape out, and change any cards they view as problematic before they're ever even released into the game.
One potential problem with this system would be that people would just que up with already perfected decks from ladder and not use any new cards. The simpilist fix to this would be to lower the entry price from $10 to $2, and change the prize payout to be more similar to areanas, while also awarding packs from the new expansion instead of older ones.
I doubt anyone from Blizzard will even read this but i felt like itd be a great way to get players excited to play again and get old players to return, while also having the entire world be able to help balance the expansions before they ever have a chance to ruin ladder
tl;dr: Make Heroic brawl cheaper and only before new expansions and let us play with new caards in it, we can bust the format during the brawl and blizzard could patch problem cards before being released
