Time to ditch Like a Version?

Today's butchering was a prime example of how this segment has run its course. It's been great and offered up some sweet tracks but is it time to refresh this Friday ritual? so many things about it are stale from song selections, it not being live, the inane before and after banter, the 'give us a clue' tripe... it just needs a rejig...

Perhaps you could just have a stripped back live segment aka Tiny Desk Concerts? or a Friday acoustic session? Friday collaboration getting two artists to perform?

I just cant see this segment offering anything different to what has been stella but now stagnate run..

Anyone agree?
