2017 GTI SE Bluetooth issue With Spotify

So i just bought a new GTI 2 days ago and i love it! for the first two days everything was great but today something kind of weird started happening when streaming spotify over bluetooth. Everything works fine except for if i skip a song/click next the display get out of sync with the song that is playing. It doesn't happen when i just let the song finish and it goes to the next song and it doesn't happen at all if I'm playing music i actually have downloaded on my phone so i have no clue whats going on. I'm assuming its an issue with spotify but was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
