Rights for tenancy in Quest Apartment
I live in a building that shares space with the Quest hotel services. The staff are mostly friendly with the exception of the manager. She's has a history with my flatmates who have been living here longer, and that history has transferred to me. Today she's told me that due to the volume of packages I'm receiving each month (less than 3 a month, if any), her staff won't sign for the packages. When I offered to pay for that service, she said it wasn't an option. She confirmed she'd continue to collect our mail (so condescendingly it nearly dropped my jaw). I've spoken to staff after to see if they'll at least hold them or put them somewhere if I don't require a signature and someone said they would, though I'm not holding my breath. The manager told me to get delivered at work or to be home when they're delivered. I live at the top level and doubt any courier service would take the time to come up to get the signature but I will try that. Does anyone know anything about rights of tenants that live in a serviced building like ours? I'm really annoyed. The manager made it sound like they've been suffering for what literally takes 30 seconds to do. Cheers thanks
