People of /r/india, how do you travel when none of your friends are available to go with you?

I am currently staying in Bangalore and travel twice a month (weekend trips). Its hard for me to always find someone as people have other plans. I've never travelled solo, and I am not sure if that's what I want to do. What do you guys do in such situation? Do you travel solo or go with some meetup group or something?
