Weird literature set in the jungle (or swamp)?
I love fiction set in the jungle and the swamp, especially when there is a focus on describing the landscape (at least somewhat). Examples are the Clark Ashton Smith story The Tale of Satampra Zeiros. I also liked Lukundoo quite a bit (more horror, but still).
Do you guys have any suggestions in the genre? I tend to read weird and horror but I feel like in some ways I've been delving more into the horror side of things for the past few years, and besides some of the more popular authors (Lovecraft, Blackwood, Barron) I feel as if I haven't really gone into the genre of weird as much (even though there is a lot of crossover).
Thanks for any suggestions
