Best trails in between Denver and Wyoming

I am up in Fort Collins and was wondering what the best trails between Denver and Wyoming are. I do a bunch of riding around horsetooth, but would like some ideas for rides within a reasonable drive.

I am on a slack 29er and prefer to go downhill 😈
