Just got my first visit from the missionaries

Live in SLC proper and got a knock on the door from two young guys who couldn't be older than 18. They did the whole spiel and asked if I was a member, to which I said "I used to be, but found some serious problems with church history and the doctrine".

I told them I appreciated the sentiment and hoped they have a good evening and to stay safe, and then they asked me if there was anything they could do for me, to which I replied no, but thanked them for asking.

I feel very sympathetic for the young boys who are forced into being door-to-door salesman for a religion they most likely don't honestly believe in. The two missionaries were very nice gents and took my objections well--I just wish there was a way to convince them to stop wasting some of the best years of their life. Anyway, that was a first for me, and thought I'd share it.
