[question]Eevee evolution WITHOUT nickname

Has anyone evolved an Umbreon or Espeon WITHOUT using the Sakura/Tamao nickname? I used the nicknames on my two best Eevee's. I then evolved eight more Eevee, and got only Gen 1 evolutions. Has anyone evolved Umbreon/Espeon WITHOUT using the nicknames?
