How to compete as a short sprinter

Hi guys I'm 5"6 and currently in 10th grade. I mainly run the 100m. My current pb is 12.01 which I ran in grade 9. I always seem to lose to taller sprinters who have bigger strides. Track season is approaching and I would like to run low 11s any tips for a 5"6 sprinter to compete with the Giants? thanks
