Question about re-amping using Reapers and guitar pedals

My equipment is as follows: Windows 10 running Reaper x64 v 5.33, with an Akai EIE Pro interface. I would like to run pre-recorded tracks from Reaper through various guitar pedals, and I'm struggling to route everything in a way that will achieve this. I currently have the first two EIE Outputs going to my monitors, with a third running a guitar lead so that I can (hopefully) send signal from the DAW into my pedals. If I, for example, have a dry guitar part pre-recorded in Reaper, how do I tell the DAW to send audio signal out through Output 3, which will run into a bunch of pedals and then back into the Input of the EIE? Whilst re-amping, I don't need to have the track play through Outputs 1 and 2 (the monitors) so I need to someone tell Reaper to specifically only use Output 3. I understand that I may need some kind of re-amp device (such as the Palmer Daccapo Re-Amp Box) however I have read that some people get by without needing this so I'm keen to try it out first; at the very least, I will need to figure out my routing options sooner or later. My guess is that I'm going to need to create a new track, whose input is a pre-existing track of my choosing, and which is only allocated to play via Output 3. But I'm not sure. Any tips?
