How closely do I need to follow my submitted plans to pass inspection?

I'm finishing my basement and have a bedroom planned. I forgot to put a closet in my plans that I submitted. Am I going to run into trouble if I deviate from my plan as long as everything still meets code? I live in Minnesota BTW.
