Matching Types of Tops with Types of Skirts?

I've recently gotten really into skirts after finally figuring out the types that are best for my body, however I'm having a harder time finding the shirts to go with them. So I was wondering, what kind of tops do you all pair with skirts?

I feel like pencil skirts are the easiest - peplums are amazing with them, so are button downs, fitted shirts, loose shirts because they can be tucked in pretty snuggly.

With high-lo or maxi skirts I've typically worn tank tops or 3/4 sleeve fitted shirts but would definitely like to branch out.

The ones I've been having trouble with are these (1 2) because I feel stuck in my box of 3/4 sleeve fitted either off-shoulder or scoop neck shirts but there must be more out there!

Anyway, hoping to both get answers to my specific questions and see other types of shirt/skirt combos you all like!

PS: Bonus points for recommendations on where to find said shirts!
