Looking to upgrade

Heya folks!

Been riding a cb500f for a year now and am looking to move to something that fits my commute/needs. Been looking into sport touring bikes and have came to the triumph Sprint st and the Honda vfr800. Looking for more wind protection and power for highway speeds, and ability to ride in cooler weather. My commute is about 30 min one way and the hard seat and lack of wind protection really kills the ride when it's in the low 40s.

I was also wondering if dealers offer better deals or negotiate lower for new bikes that are around two years old. Local dealer has a 2014 vfr800dlx and was going to look at it, but wondered first if dealers will haggle those. Read that the 14 has a bunch of extras worth spending a little more on, if they'll budge.

Also found a pretty decent 05 sprint st with 7900miles on it I'd like to see if it's a better bike. Since it has a little more power.
