You Are Water

Endless cascades of unpredictable ripple
Adorn this backdrop aimlessly
Unknowable strength lies
In its capacity to carve valleys, streams.

While if looked upon attentively,
A reflection can be seen, 
A distant glance reveals nothing of the sort, 
Something of which I can only dream. 

You are water;
Worthy equally in plenty as in scarcity.
Life follows where you flow;
I pray you always move freely.
