Looks absolutely awesome you have every right to be proud, but what's with that line of dark oak trees? It doesn't look bad or anything, just curious.

That's likely more of a tree farm than actual decoration, since building a nice village like that requires a good chunk of wood, and he needs to plant multiple types to get the different woods.

Ahh I see, thanks.

u/SexyMrSkeltal is partially right. I just plant the trees as I need them. When I found my first roofed forest, I just planted a bunch of Dark Oak trees. Then I ran out of spruce wood and planted a bunch of spruce trees. With no "design" in mind

How do you make the isometric view?

MapCrafter! :)

Chunky is also great to use for renders -> http://chunky.llbit.se/

I like MapCrafter, because it outputs you not just a render, but rather a map, you can zoom in, zoom out, move around... Similar to Google Maps, in a sense.

Oh cool! Did not know that. Thanks.

That looks awesome! What's you use for the paths/roads between houses? I might have to appropriate that for my own world!

Stone slabs with cobblestone in the middle. Three blocks thick - slab cobble slab
