[Event]Federal Court Arsonist Identified after Police Shootout.

The suspected arsonist responsible for the fire at the Federal Court Complex was located by police in Mogadishu. A brief stand off between the arsonist and police occurred, resulting in one officer being shot and left in critical condition, and the arsonist dead. The Arsonist has been identified as a former employee of one of the current president of Somalia's old private businesses from his time before taking office.

Official suspect the arson was intended to destroy evidence in corruption cases being built against members of the current administration. Criminal charges are being brought against the President for his connection to the arsonist.

Going off of this information, the Somalian parliament will begin Impeachment procedures against the president. The Parliament is also expected to grant temporary emergency powers to the current Prime Minister of Somalia, investing in him the powers of both head of state and head of government, until the next scheduled presidential election in 2036.

In a brief statement giving by the Prime Minister to the Somalian News Media, He stated his intent to cut out corruption from the government and to deter corruption in the future.
