I don't get this.

You are aggravated at the fact that a lot of people like the new Shadow of Intent. Yet no one seems to bat an eye about the fact that Suicide Silence has been posted to death since their latest came out and were posted a ton before even that whole fiasco happened. No one seems to bat an eye at the fact that Thy Art gets posted just as much and when CJ farts into a jar the Thy Art rabble rushes in to sniff it.

Then, listing two downtempo bands(and as you know downtempo is often a redheaded stepchild around here.) that you haven't posted. So post them. Get some damn people talking about them.

No one is talking about them you say? Then start talking about them!!! Holy crap. Post it. You have some good underground shit? Post that shit. Get off the bench. Who cares if 2-3 people upvote it? That's 2-3 people that will probably talk about it and throw it in a playlist.

I get just as aggravated as yourself at so many folks constantly posting a lot of the same stale stuff on here we've heard a million times over. I get just as aggravated at many up and comers getting overlooked. I in no way dislike Thy Art is Murder. Even a few SS songs from the days of yore are good to me(they were never my bag.)

The list goes on. Yeah we've all heard these before, hundreds, even thousands of times over.

The more people posting fresh, new, underground, overlooked, never heard of stuff the better. I realize that this is an open forum for any sort of deathcore discussion. However, you can only sit in a room talking about the same bands/songs/albums over and over and over again before it just becomes a complete echo chamber, I realize this.

So maybe try to stop the echoing.

People like what they like, that's just how it is.

I didn't like the clean vocals part but I think that Ben's vocals are so good that they really make their songs awesome.

Part of the reason I support them so much is because they're just cool guys to talk to.

Pretty pointless thing to worry yourself about. Music is subjective. I dont understand why everyone likes fit for an autopsy so much, but i dont let it bug me.

I think they are a bit overrated as well. But that doesn't mean that they are bad. Would like to see them live some day to see if they can impress me

Their Primordial album is really top notch. It reminds me a lot of A Shadow of One Thousand Suns by Abigail Williams. The Horror Within is just a really really good song. I've never listened to some of the bands you mentioned but I will check them out.

And why post about it here? Its metalcore, and average.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from. Their first album was pretty good, couple great songs but wasn't a masterpiece by any means.

I'm still really excited to hear some more new stuff, but this new song was pretty... Meh. It seemed like 5 minutes of filler that was building up to something, that never really delivered.
