Guy Davis aka Shill, Asshole Extraordinaire
Name: Guy Davis aka Shill
Age: 24
Physical appearance: Besides being naturally a little muscular, and a little handsome, he's remarkably average, with brown hair styled into a flow, brown eyes, a bit of stubble, and being of average height. In 'costume', he looks pretty well as he does out of 'costume', wearing a rather unimaginative and generic combination of hoodie, sweatpants, and half-face balaclava.
Mentality: Living a life of mediocrity has made Guy envious and bitter of the 'top dogs' of villains, heroes, and people in general. He thinks that they lucked into their position or status, and prides himself on his achievements because (unlike them,) he's earning every inch of progress he makes. He's obsessed with his goal of gaining notoriety and prestige, aka he wants to be respected, rich, and famous. Despite seeming to be the pinnacle of mediocrity, he is exceptional in one regard - he's a phenomenal asshole for no apparent reason, and thinks he's hot shit after gaining powers.
Backstory: His big mouth wasn't something he grew into when he got powers. No, Guy always had a penchant for cutting into the egos of the wrong people. He triggered when he made the mistake of mouthing off to a parahuman criminal, a known cryokinetic gang leader, and a rather unstable and dramatic one at that. The man broke into Guy’s apartment that night while he slept. Guy awoke to the man pulverising the bones in each of his fingers with a metal mallet, who then froze each of the broken appendages before shattering every one of them again, this time taking the limbs clean off in the process. Then he moved on to the hand to continue his sadistic craft. The man continued this up Guy’s arms, then started on his legs with his toes. By the time the man deemed the job finished, Guy was a paraplegic, squirming amongst his thawing chunks of body scattered around him. The madman left Guy to die, but he triggered instead, gaining a mild, but comprehensive regenerative power that kept him from bleeding out first before moving on to regenerate the missing appendages. Guy, without proper limbs to assist him, sustained himself off his own thawed chunks of flesh and chips of bone for over a week as his limbs grew strong enough to support him. He later learned no one came to his aid because the man killed the few other occupants of his small apartment complex.
Resources: A dingy apartment in the slums and $100 left to his name.
Alignment: Villain
Equipment/Weaponry: A crowbar, a baseball bat, a switchblade, a fire axe, and an ill-maintained pistol.
Specializations: Pointing out other people's flaws while ignoring his own, somehow manages to keep bringing his neglected potted ivy plant back to life (the thing's got more lives than his childhood housecat), has mastered the craft of microwave cooking ramen noodles.
Power: (HT) Possesses a mid-high tier 'full' regeneration that moves the body towards an optimal point of health and fitness. This effect is able to be transferred to another person, overwriting and swapping their power to him. 'Swaps' lasts for one day or until he voluntarily rescinds the effects.
Versatility: Can be used to remove a powerful parahuman from play by overriding their power with his own, or be used on an injured ally to let them heal slowly while he fills in with their power.
Example: Revenge never felt so sweet, the look on the cryokinetic’s face when he saw Shill alive was almost good enough, but when the man found he couldn’t use his own power he looked oh so scared. It made Shill feel euphoric really. It was almost as good as subjecting the asshole to his own brand of torture, however distasteful it may be, but now with Shill’s own regeneration to make the process slower for him. The man learned his lesson in the end probably. As Shill caved in his skull, he felt the old regenerative effects of ‘his’ old power take over once again, and the blisters on his hands from pounding away with the metal mallet, started to seal up.
