iconic
To not rate the app after seeing this, a real tragedy it would be.
What app
Rated E.
Surprised lol
Hm could get them into trouble if the screenshot is real.

Why? Everyone cusses.
No they fucking dont, what a dumb fucking statement.

Not much, you?
No, iconic
Nice

I appreciate this, and I'm more likely to stop what I'm doing and review because of it.
Then it's working
I thought this was another 'Uninstall immediately!' post then saw what it said. Looks like a great dev!
I wanna install it just so I can rate it!
I'd just like to take a moment to say fuck this post for flagging automoderator and making me reapprove all the comments that have the word "fuck" in them.
Fuck.
*For the record, it's not photoshopped. It was supposed to be an april fool's thing for the beta testers (it wasn't in the production app)
Is this real or photoshopped?
A quick scan using an online tool shows a suspicious rectangle around the "Go Fuck Yourself" button that isn't seen on the other two buttons, almost as if it was a rectangle copy/pasted from somewhere else.

Then again it's like my second time using the tool.
Looks like the "Later" also has that box tbh
Yeah, it does. That doesn't necessarily prove anything, the photoshopper could have changed something there, too, but it's definitely weird, and yeah, kinda implies it's a thing with the tool rather than a real modification.

Later
That is amazing.
Haha that was a good laugh. Creative developer right there or at the very least good sense of humour. lol

Lol I guess it works
Oh boy circlejerk time!
I'd like to see statistics about whether this generates more ratings or not.
Can't find it but I did see someone's analytics for their app on the Android dev sub and having a pop up like that dramatically increased ratings because people actually reviewed it.
Right, but the question is if the amount of ratings would differ significantly based on whether the button says "Go fuck yourself" or e.g. "Close". That would be interesting to A/B test.
Ah, I thought someone just photoshopped the "go fuck yourself" response
Well, I'm often prompted to rate apps by such warnings and I've found that if it's an app I've liked and spent a lot of time on, then such a warning does compel me to actually review it. Whether the "fuck yourself" would prompt a quicker response, I'm not sure.
