Weapon Selection Wheel in Vehicles

Hi there,

I would love to see a mod that integrates the weapon wheel for weapon selection that is availabe on foot into vehicles. Going through the list of drive-by weapons in a vehicle is a seemingly unnecessary hassle. The radio has a wheel to select the station but for some reaon weapons do not. Even when you are swimming you have the weapon wheel availabe, though you can only select knives. The other weapons are simply greyed out.

Does such a mod perhaps already exist? Would someone be capable to programm it? I mean the framework is basically there, isn't it?
