I know you guys don't like to particpate at r/DebateEvolution, but come on over here.
r/DebateCreation really isn't any more civil than r/DebateEvolution
In DebateCreation, one mod is an atheist and one is a creationist. Seems more balanced to me than DebateEvolution, where all three mods argue against creation.
I'll participate if I have the time. I've been very busy and I still have several dozen other questions posed to me or discussions I need to respond first before I get involved in another debate since Creation and Christianity are such popular subjects (: but from what I read u/JoeCoder , you've done another good job holding up with the professor.
There are plenty of places open. I'm not interested.
How about we debate the origins of chirality, instead? Why should we pander to discussing what he wishes, on an entirely different sub? I don't have the time to waste chasing down his pet example that no one has done the proper research to refute, yet. Every time something is investigated thoroughly enough, it ends up supporting design and creation. In the meanwhile, evolution-centric investigation spins it to make it seem supportive of the currently popular paradigms.
From my perspective, junk DNA is one of the most debated topics in the evolution vs design debates. Much more than chirality.
