Comment permalink and source invalid
Here's my comment permalink: https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/64tmtk/megathread_sean_spicer_wwii_gaffe/dg54ytq/
Here's what it says for the source: "hanging around all those neo-nazis definitely changes people"
Here's the permalink of the comment with those words: https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/64tmtk/megathread_sean_spicer_wwii_gaffe/dg6moyq/
And I have no way of linking my actual comment, I don't think. But it should be visible in my userpage about a day old, here's the text:
"I'd be surprised if he didn't [use chemical attacks in the war]
What Spicer said was stupid."
(Please ignore political leanings, and I just reposted the comment, so you'd have to scroll further down to see it again.)

Did you repost your original comment (whose link doesn't work properly) on the alt u/TiredOfPutinsBS?
Given that the link doesn't load properly, I think it's one of those cases where your comment isn't properly inserted into the comment queue, so it's not visible to others in the thread (though if the person you replied to has inbox replies enabled, it'll still appear in their inbox).
I don't know the other account, I just clicked source when I went to repost and noticed the discrepancy, then ran a Google search.
So this is a known issue that has been seen before? Do you have a link for an explanation? What would happen if the other person tries to respond to it? Is there an easy way to reproduce this?
Weird. I think a similar issue has been reported once or twice, but I don't know what would cause that. Hopefully the admins can look into it.
I think something similar has happened a couple times, where I click the permalink and it just links to the full thread. I figured it was an app issue (often use reddit is fun), but the source really had me puzzled.
That is the issue I was referring to earlier (the comment not being added to the queue of comments for the thread). But it wouldn't cause your comment to be associated with a different account, as it seems happened in this case.
