noob question.
is there a way to modify the tail texture? (ie like have "Normal Hacking Select" as the cursor but the tail texture is a "Move Border" just like the one you posted here: http://imgur.com/a/FKXfD or is this limited to only in the desktop screen?

I'm not understanding what you are tying to do. What is a move border? Are you trying to get a custom mouse trail cause I do not know of a way to do that. The boxes that appear under my cursor is a rainmeter thing not a mouse trail effect.

Move border is the name of the cur file in OPs cursor mods.
Basically, if i can have the Nier automata game pointer as my PC mouse pointer BUT have my pointer shadows as the miniHacking game.
Basically like the gif posted by the OP (where he had the triangle pointy as his mouse cursor but when he moves it, it creates white box shadows instead of the "copy shadows" of the pointy cursor..

Yeah I am OP btw. That white box effect is thanks to rainmeter. It is the tile effect not a true mouse trail.

Update: New version of the Cursors Include 2hp and 1hp versions(Gray Border only atm) and Black tip+Full black border

So my first post was caught in a spam filter late last night according to a mod.
Well here is a .rar containing the Hacking Cursors + variants and a new Pod Targeting Cursor + variants.
The pod targeting cursor is the 4 diamond shape that shows up when shooting. It is intended to be used with the Move cursor since the hotspot is in the center of the 4 diamonds.
To use it go to your mouse properties and change the cursor with browse and then locate the downloaded file.

Enable pointer shadow to make it look more like the game.

You can also turn on cursor trail to feel like the final hacking bullet hell where you get help from everybody

It was made for 1920*1080 monitors and the bottom row I felt like needed some tweaking because the tiles overlapped. Just turn off the keep on screen setting for the bottom row of tiles. Hint Hold alt and shift to select the tiles turn off click through and drag to a better spot after turning off keep on screen. Just be aware that the tiles take up a bit of resources.

Okay, this one should be good. I hope. Ehh It is a little smaller than usual and not as pointy but it will do. Unless it is really requested then I'll fix it. Fixed version in the updated .rar file. I could not just let it be such sloppy work. Unless you prefer it to be smaller.

Should be larger than just black tipped not sure if the tip is sharp enough though since I have not tested it.
