An ideia I had about Sonic Forces and why the comics are late
So, most of you have probably seen the latest Sonic Forces teaser and got a look at the silhouette of a new character. We've been having a good time guessing with Big, Nack, Sally and Bugsy but I noticed something that may link this new character and the endless hiatus the comics have been on recently.
I call upon the Megaman comic from Archie which is in a similar predicament as Sonic right now. It got put on hiatus, promissing a return at a later date. I theorize that this may be for a relaunch coinciding with the new cartoon set to air later this year. While the comic may or not be reboted to be in sync with the show, either way it would serve as a good way to raise sales using the cartoon's popularity.
What I'm driving at is, could Sega and Archie be doing something similar with Sonic? What if the new character in Forces turns out to be Sally and they're delaying the comics until they reveal her or the game launchs? It would be a good way to introduce her to game fans if comics staring her launch right alongside the game. The next arc of Sonic Universe is even centered around the Freedom Fighters and all.
Again, just an ideia but what do you guys think?

Sadly, the comic situation isn't looking good.
How very odd. The comics bring in a lot if revenue
