Subscribing to mappers

I recently thought about that and wouldn't it be really cool if there was a way to kind of subscribe to mappers so that you get notified when they submit a beatmap. I think it would actually be a really cool feature to have. What does everyone think of that and does anyone know a way to maybe even realise it?
