#Zimbabwe's Truth Daily

Dabo: This is the ZTD News with Dabo reporting on the Zimbabwe First Party, a group known to little in the nation. I have here with me the current President of the Party Abidami Zubo, a man born and raised in Rhodesia during the 1960's who grew up during the Unilateral Declaration of Independence done by Rhodesia against the British Empire. He partook in the Second Chimurenga as an avid supporter of the ZANU-PF before he "grew up" as he says.

Dabo: Tell me, Mister Zubo, why did you support the ZANU-PF in the War of Liberation?

"Well, I supported the ZANU-PF because at the time, I was young and it just seemed like the right thing to do. There was this 'evil overlord' of our nation that wasn't giving me the rights I deserved. It seemed like they were the only ones fighting for me, for us and it just felt like the right thing to do, truly."

Dabo: When did you separate from the ZANU-PF?

"The 'separation' started during the war, actually. I was a soldier, no older than twelve and what we were doing is just targeting any land-owner that was white and... 'taking them out.' It didn't feel right and it's a part of my life I absolutely regret because it was just completely wrong."

Dabo: Completely wrong to kill slave owners?

"I wouldn't go that far, Mister Dabo to call them slave owners. My uncle was in the RAR (Rhodesian African Rifles) my grandfather was as well, both fought during the Second World War, my uncle even in Malaya. It felt far from slavery."

Dabo: Well, we're getting a bit off track. Tell me a bit about your party, the ZFP.

"The ZFP is an organization that came about in 2011 and in recent years has changed to advocate for equal rights for all men including whites and a Democratic Nation where everyone's vote matters, not just the ZANU's vote. A clear separation of church and state, freedom of religion, and- well, honestly a system of government to that of the United States."

Dabo: Advocate for equal rights including whites? You sound more like a Rhodesian than a Zimbabwean.

"Absolutely not, I'm a Zimbabwean First but you can't deny we had a lot of things better for us under the Rhodesians."

Dabo: Like forced labor? Segregated schools?

"No, no... look, I'm advocating for equal rights, something that Mugabe is far against and a whole new change of relations-"

Dabo: A whole new change of relations? You sound like very Pro-West, Mister Zubo.

"Well, like I said I'd like a government very similar to that of the United States. I don't think you can get more Pro-West than that."

Dabo: Well, would you say you're more Left Leaning or Right Leaning in that case?

"Quick change of topic, but I personally am right and I guess you could say most of our views with the ZPF are very right with conservatism and economical views."

Dabo: Hm, I see. Well, that's all the time we have for now, please see us again in the future Mister Zubo and for anyone listening keep the truth close to your heart!
