Picture Gallery Question (coming from an iphone user)

It seems like when I initially transferred my pictures over in the AT&T store (via Smart Switch) that somehow duplicate copies of a lot of the pictures I took are in the gallery now. Is there any way to get rid of them besides manually going in and hunting down the duplicates?
