Dream Character Behavior Once I become Lucid
(First post here, hi!)
When I become lucid in a dream, the first thing I try to do is "break the rules" by either flying, "phasing" through solid objects, or using "the force"/telekinesis.
I am usually able to achieve it, but once I do, it's as if I also become invisible to any nearby DCs. Not like I vanished, but more like I was never there. They completely ignore me - if I'd disappeared before their eyes, they (should) appear to notice, but they act as if they can't even see me levitating down the sidewalk.
If I try to interact with them, they act like drones; passive and mute. If I try to physically attack them, my hardest swings are reduced to light taps if they connect at all.
The overall feeling I get, after having this happen many times, is that I've broken the "terms and conditions" of the particular dream network that I've joined, and as a result have lost my interaction privileges.
Could such a thing exist? I know I don't remember making any promises not to levitate or start throwing hooks, but shared dreaming is entirely based on an agreement, is it not?
I imagine it happens accidentally just as often as intentionally, though. Do shared dreamers establish security measures for their dreamworlds?
