Gideon of the Trials v Insult//Injury
Ruling question on this.
Player 1 casts Gideon's + on their turn on Player 2's only creature. That ability states "Target permanent cannot deal damage until your next turn"
On player 2's turn, he casts Insult which states "Damage cannot be prevented this turn" and then attacks with the same creature. Damage would still go through as normal, correct? Since Insult says "damage CAN'T be prevented," it takes priority?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, we are relatively new and wanted to make sure we had the ruling right
