I am having serious baby fever. How can I get myself out of this mindset?

I keep getting these urges to want to have a baby. I am only 23 turning 24 later this year and my GF is 23. She wants to wait a few more years and get her degree in nursing first and every year more and more my want for a kid increases and waiting that long seems like bullshit. Please help me. I really want a kid badly but I know I am not financially ready quite yet.
