[standard] Questions about W/R Humans
Hey r/spikes! Long time lurker and this is my first post so please feel free to give advice around formatting and stuff.
Anyway, into the deck. I have been a huge fan of Humans since I started playing magic and with the unveiling of cards like [[Honored Crop-Captain]] and [[Bloodlust Inciter]], I got really excited about W/R Humans so I threw together a deck. I've done very limited testing on it but it seems like its insanely fast when you curve out.

Turn 1 Bloodlust Inciter, Turn 2 Honored Crop-Captain, Turn 3 Hanweir Garrison and Turn 4 Oketra is the ideal curve and means you are swinging for a lot of damage on turn 4 (22 in an ideal world). Being able to use Inciter to haste up hanweir and oketra is pretty nuts if it stays on the battlefield for long enough.
I see alot of Human decks that run a lot of 1 drops so I was wondering if I should add some more in or not? 8 seems like enough to consistently have a turn 1 play, but I see some decks running 10+. Also is [[Metallic Mimic]] a must have? I prefer Crop Captain for the body and Hanweir Captain/Thalia's for the threat if I can keep them on the battlefield with garrison.
I have [[Harsh Mentor]] and [[Thalia, Heretic Cathar]] in the sideboard for Mardu if I run into it and [[Shock]] should be able to at least deter Sahelli combo. Is there anything else I should be worried about for sideboarding or otherwise?
I'd appreciate some feedback on the deck. I'm excited for AMK to officially get released so I can test this deck at my LGS. Thanks for reading!
