Calling the Azir Mains, I need help with Zed

I used to shit on Zed, I can't anymore. Maybe it's a mindset, maybe he's actually cancer. The problem I have is a feel the need to rush zhonyas so I don't I get one shot and if I do my mid game is done. I also have so much trouble stopping his roams. If zed is successful on one roam it usually snowballs the rest of the game. Help me here guys so I don't have to ban him every game.
