Customization in D2
As Destiny 2 approaches I can't help but speculate how the new armor/customization will be. We all want something new and fresh but still destiny and here's how I think that could work.
Armor: First as you collect and build your guardian it could be like D1. Arms, legs, helmet. But as you progress in the game your able to change specific pieces like gloves, forearms, shoulder. That way we could ease into a much more in depth personal look for our guardian without being overwhelmed. As we get more accustomed to this new system we'll be eased into it. imagine grinding for that perfect set of gloves that increase hand cannon stability. Im all about it.
Weapons: I think it would be really cool to be able to build you own guns (and also have a place to test them like a shooting range in social areas) maybe start with a frame and build off from there. There could be like a super rare exotic crystal that you could install in a weapon giving it elemental damage if you want. But once that crystal is used it now belongs in the gun. As a scout rifle user I'm very particular, as I should be, about ROF and scope and impact so being able to better one of these but maybe making another worse would be cool.
Class: I don't know how the classes will be in D2 but it would be cool to have hybrid classes. A Hunter with some Warlock traits or a Titan with some Hunter ability. And of course you'd lose some of your traits as your main class. Balance would have to come into play.
Theory: I haven't seen this talked about but with the trailers we've seen for D2, the promotional images, and the fact that only our characters look will carry over I feel there's a possibility we will fight/can fight/have to fight without our helmets. I don't know why or how but I feel that is coming. Some of you that happen to not hate the look of your guardian and have the helmet off in social areas in D1 will be a familiar face in D2 on and off the field. Personally I love helmets but Gary is comin' in hot.
tldr: more in depth stuff...because something with a G destroys mine.
Thoughts?
