Spark on a Windows host under virtualbox - has anyone got this working?
Hi,
I'm trying to get Spark working in an Ubuntu 16.04 VirtualBox guest on a Windows 10 host.
Has anyone else managed to do this?
During spark new foo the install process (composer/NPM/assets) all create symlinks within the shared VBox folder and these are of course not supported by the host OS.
I'm now trying with my Gitbash shell running as Administrator but Homestead's vagrant up is breaking on trying to find ssh keys:
mail@SurfaceBook MINGW64 /c/Users/mail/www/Homestead ((5.2.3))
$ vagrant up
C:/Users/mail/www/Homestead/scripts/homestead.rb:118:in `read': No such file or directory @ rb_sysopen - C:/WINDOWS/system32/config/systemprofile/.ssh/id_rsa (Errno::ENOENT)
(I've ran ssh-keygen as Administrator and that file definitely exists)
Before I spend too much more time on this I just want to check that other Homestead/Spark users have managed to get VBox and symlinks working OK.
