CosmeticSurgeryPsycho's Halloween.

Giada's tiara and sash got me remembering what my mother, CosmeticSurgeryPsycho did one Halloween day. I figured mother's day is near so, wth.

I was mid-teens maybe. Halloween Day. I had grown out of going door to door for Halloween candy or wearing costumes. CosmeticSurgeryPsycho, while it's still daylight, wants to go door to door to show all the neighbors her "trick."

I'm a kid who hasn't realized yet I'm not responsible for fixing my mother's behavior. So I go with her. Maybe I also wanted to see the neighbor's reactions. Probably hoping that would knock some sense into her. I didn't know any better.

I wore regular clothes. No costume. Didn't want people to think I was crazy. Still daylight. She wears a Maori costume and brings poi balls to swing around to show the neighbors her "trick." The Maori costume itself is a cute costume for Halloween. Her behavior was not cute.

Door to door we go as CosmeticSurgeryPsycho shows each neighbor her poi ball "trick." Some neighbors have a startled look on their face. Some neighbors said, "Umm, err, would you like some candy?" Some slam the door on her face. One man was real angry. Told her there was something seriously wrong with her. We went to a lot of houses. She was so eager to show her poi ball trick.

Finally, I told her it was getting dark, we should go home now. She goes, "But we haven't shown everybody yet." I told her the other neighbors will find out from the ones who did see her poi ball trick. I thought I had to be the adult. I was also hoping the neighbors would set her straight. Especially the man that got downright angry.

Some have said it must have been fun growing up with such a goofy mother. That's how some people never see how violent and dangerous she was behind closed doors. Psychopaths do goofy things that throw people off the trail.

eta - she asked each neighbor, "Did you like my 'trick'?"
