Hotline Miami 1 Technical Difficulties

Whenever I play HM1 I seem to crash within a time frame of 30 minutes to a few hours. I have no idea if it is to do with my computer (running at 8 gigs so it should be fine) or if it's to do with the software which runs it (Gamemaker Studio). The second game runs perfectly fine so I have no idea why this happens. If anyone knows why this happens please tell me.
