Need financial advice, unpaid in a UK store

Hi Guys,

So about 30mins ago I got a call from my gf saying that her company are not going to pay her this month as they have lost her bank details (she started a month ago). She has bills/rent to pay and her company are saying that they can't do anything about it.

When she asked the director of the area if anything could be done she just apologised and said "you've got a boyfriend haven't you? Can't he help?".

She is in tears to me as she doesn't know what to do. I should say that she works at a high street store that deal in eye care.

Please guys any advice you can give will be appreciated, I don't know how to help.

Edit: I should also mention that the bank details that they lost were actually on paper in a physical format, is this not a violation of the data protection act?
