Wow Internet Pricing

So I have had Wow for the last 1.5 years. They had a 30mbps promotion when I signed up. Well I am wanting to upgrade it to 100mbps which currently has a promotion for $40 a month for new customers... So the sales rep I was talking to was telling me it was going to cost $76 a month for that because I am not a new customer... Talked the manager and he wouldn't budge either... Now I'm a little annoyed that they are wanting to charge be almost double for what a new account would be charged. Anyone have an ideas as to how I could get better than 30mbps internet for $40 or less?
