Gas Buddy for grocery

I'm putting this out there because I don't currently have the time to design/build it, but I would be interested in a partnership: I've often found myself trying to remember how much I paid for eggs/milk/etc on my last shop in a different grocery store, but could never remember. Solution: An app like gas buddy that allows users to update the latest price on top 10 purchases in grocery stores: eggs, milk, bread, etc. Then you can view on a map which grocery store in your area has the best prices on any given day for these top 10 items. Users of the app are encouraged to update prices while shopping in exchange for entries to weekly draw for a prize (iPad/gift certificate/etc). The beauty of this app is that it's real time updated and as a user you can see when the latest update was submitted. I think in our increasingly difficult economic environment (inflation and real estate prices outpacing wages), many people will be looking for ways to save money. Groceries are a major monthly expense. And everyone needs to eat so its a very safe/sure target market. Check out gas buddy to see the concept in action.
