Traffic ticket at O'Hare in Chicago?

I was picking up a rider at O'Hare airport earlier today. Apparently I was a few feet behind the rideshare pickup zone, but my rider was already walking towards my car. One of the airport traffic people was motioning for me to move, but my rider was was already getting in the car, and I motioned back that I was leaving in a second.

The traffic person began looking at my license plate and writing what seemed to be a ticket. When I lowered my window and asked what's wrong, he said I was blocking the curb. The rider already got in the car, and I simply drove away. I was probably standing there for all of 15 seconds.

I don't know how tickets at O'Hare work, but might I receive a ticket in the mail for this? The airport traffic person did not give me the ticket personally or put it on my car.
