App that writes guitar tabs from what you play

About a year ago I took the plunge and quit my job to work on what really excites me in life: guitar and AI. Lately I've been working on an app that listens to you playing electric guitar and automatically writes out tabs for what you played. So far I'm the only one who's played around with it and would appreciate feedback from other guitarists. Can you give it a try and tell me your thoughts on the good, the bad, the ugly? To get access, head to frettable.com and click the "Register for Beta" button. I would also be interested in hearing everyone's opinions on how they would use the app and what you think about the idea.

Currently it's only for iOS (Apple) devices but if there's good feedback I can roll something out on Android soon. So far you can:

• keep track of all your song ideas
• view and print tabs for your songs and other people's songs
• download tabs as a MIDI or MusicXML file that you can then load into Guitar Pro or TuxGuitar
• collaborate on riffs or songs recorded by others by commenting or recording your own version
