Did Dark Souls help you to combat Depression ?

currently i am depressed as fuck and have only been having sucidal thoughts, so i want something to combat this mindset of mine

i got recommened Dark Souls from my previous post in r/anime

i want to know about how it helped you

also does Dark Souls has atleast 70% discount ? and when is the nearest sale, possible so i can pick it up, a guess would be fine too, i don't know how steam sales work yet
