Sent messages are not showing for any messaging app other than stock samsung

Anyone else having this issue? It's driving me nuts. I'm tempted to switch to Textra or Google Messages but when I open the app, all my received texts are there but there is nothing in the sent column, yet these texts show in the stock Samsung messages app.

I have even tried to use SMS backup and restore to re-restore all my texts and they still won't show! :(
